Sign Up Now!The “Wests club” is a club/group more broadly, it has an rsl style social club based in the inner west of Sydney. They own wests tigers but their goal is to broaden into a larger club/group of clubs with different sports under the “wests group” banner. Nrl, soccer, cricket, basketball. Somewhat in the way city group are acquiring clubs under the city group banner or maybe the red bull sports group on a smaller scale is a more apt comparison given the multi sport dimension to it. Raciti obviously sees it as an opportunity to secure financial backing, “wests” obviously see it as an opportunity to expand their empire/portfolio.@Beretta for us down in Melbourne, why would Wests want to take over APIA? And why would the APIA Board sell out? I’m assuming it’s West Tigers NRL team?
Yeah, still a few turns to go before we can call curtians on them though... syd utd and Olympic looking the ones actually in trouble.on track for half of the foundation clubs getting knocked out
will be even more interested in how many non nsw/vic clubs make it, as those are the clubs that are really auditioning and the nst depends on their strength in the current political climate
Yeah, but Moreton offered nothing. We are in the weakest group IMOYeah, still a few turns to go before we can call curtians on them though... syd utd and Olympic looking the ones actually in trouble.
Yea not shocking, both clubs were mid table in the state league and did no where near enough to improve in time for this. Infact in United’s case they’ve gone backwards. Not good enough from both clubs imo. UnacceptableYeah, still a few turns to go before we can call curtians on them though... syd utd and Olympic looking the ones actually in trouble.
Showed nothing in 3 years
Also the new badge is abysmal
Well done croatia. Outplayed us in the second half. Thought overall they were the better team.
The competition needs another big crowd on Friday night. If Preston can get 4000-5000 crowd attendance, then that would be great.
In Sydney or Adelaide ?Its become a must win game, so i know they will draw a big crowd.
For us, it's win or bust against Metrostars.

Each to their own but I’m sure other traditional clubs are happy that this isn’t happening to them. It’ll help the finances but it’ll no doubt dilute the clubs identity
In Sydney or Adelaide ?
It definitely can but it all depends if there is a plan on the burning pocket year after year.9k at wanderers today. to me that shows that all these clubs can coexist relatively comfortably
The formation of APIA in the 50's was actually a merger between whatever West's were and whatever APIA were at the time.Wests started in Ashfield, (down the road from APIA)
Playing catch up fellas been a busy weekend........I saw nothing special from Apia. Syd Cro were just fucken shit....
