Without being a derby of any kind per se, was an all Sydney clash. Will be interesting to see what sort of crowd clubs can draw for marconi v south Hobart, Sydney Olympic v Broadmeadow given the clubs they’re playing aren’t much of a draw, relying on purely home support. Olympic probably the more favourable time slot of the 2.

Also interesting seeing what effect running alongside the a league has this weekend, for championship and a league clubs. Wanderers also play at home Saturday. 7 Sydney clubs now at national level

The treatment of Away fans, the FA and police can hold there heads in shame. I dont think ill be attending for the rest of this tournament.

4,200 good crowd, solid support from both sides.

I get it but as I say, I very much hope this years experience doesn’t put both the club and the fan base off the idea of the championship. The comp is very much stronger with Sydney united, they’re needed and wanted

Not even a trial game, first game together was against Bayswater last week.
