Sign Up Now!Yes and no. Akram played one yr less than Starc. So lets say that equates to 10 tests at 5 wk per Test. That is then a different story. Cant argue tho, that his form past 12 months has been fabulous. But he has been so excruciatingly inconsistent over his career you wanna scream sometimes.Mitchell Starc is officially the greatest left arm fast bowler of all time.
It worries me I’ve seen Neser and Doggett bowl so well in the Shield at Bellerive, Boland less potent at the venue, and all three look relatively innocuous ATM at the Gabba at Test level.Dont be surprised if Jhye Richardson is recalled for this series, prob late matches. Then again it may be next Test by replacing Doggett who does not look up to this level.
Probably the most impressive recent bowler to visit Bellerive in the Shield, but Jhye’s body struggles to cope with red ball cricket.Dont be surprised if Jhye Richardson is recalled for this series, prob late matches. I can’t believe Green was stepping to off to play tennis style forehand shots?Cam Green getting an absolute pasting on Twitter. And rightly so.
But also what was Smith doing? They were both swinging at everything. Smith should have walked down the pitch and said 'let's calm down a bit'.
Anyway, Carey has righted the ship somewhat. Will be an interesting day tomorrow.
Mate, I’ve watched a lot of cricket. I think Jacks’ catch is one of the best I’ve ever seen! Both teams have bad lapses batting and bowling, the Poms are also poor in the field.
Gee, we are missing him!According to CA Josh Hazlewood wont be playing next Test as his hammy is only slowly improving. Expecting Josh to wake up one morning soon and decide to call it quits as he must be so tired of continually missing Test matches.

I am suggesting his inclusion only provided he survives the current four day A match in Brisbane. He took four in the first innings and from footage he looks good. But he is clearly slower these days given his chronic shoulder problems.Probably the most impressive recent bowler to visit Bellerive in the Shield, but Jhye’s body struggles to cope with red ball cricket.
