- club had no choice to put those banners up fa directive
- weve been trying for years to clean up behind the goal area but red tape keeps putting a stop to it

Preston have done a hell of a lot of good work the past 6-7 years to get to the position they're in. Well done for this and for raising the bar and bringing the local game to life. Never thought I'd see us and you guys play these incredible derbies again. They've been such tense and passionate football spectacles. All 4 times I've been to BT Connor reserve the past few years I've been impressed with the organisation and security arrangements. I'm glad Wednesday night went incident free. My daughter went to the game with her Maco friend from work and stood amongst the Preston fans. Was her first ever local game and she really enjoyed it. Told her we might be playing Preston in the finals at Lakeside next week and said she'll invite her friend to sit with the Greeks as payback lol.
 
Thanks to a late equaliser from Altona we host Heidelberg next week.

My thoughts on the performance? Average, and like i said yesterday our depth is not the best. We could have played for hours and not scored.

Same lineup as Wednesday night for the derby next week i think.
 
Did i not call preston looking to drop points here? now they get the best run in. An avondale side with a coach out the door and not having a result against most of the top sides, and a hume side not anywhere near the team it was before the tramsfer window... perfect finals run set up for them! Clever.

If Preston win, they play Oakleigh, not Hume. As they are the lowest placed side
 
What a stupid day with results. How things can change in 5 minutes from us going back to BT next week to now hosting Heidelberg at Lakeside. Can't remember the last I left a ground after a loss being happy Oh and for the Georgies trying to provoke with that chant hope you enjoy the off season. And please get some ball boys
