Menelaou and Eliopoulos might be a little underdone still, I reckon he would maybe not even have them on the bench on Sunday, saving for Australia Cup. I also think maybe SInisa may prefer a 442 against Bergers, They seem to be the only team that isnt troubled getting wide against our back 3. Also think Mikkola starts and maybe Lampard as well... I think Retre will be a calming second half sub if ahead.

Thats what Im saying... "the big games" I dont think the NPL is a pirority this year, we will sit back and let Bergers beat us 3 times in a season, badly, just so we can lose another Cup final this year.

Id manage retres minutes here to have him sharp for the semi...put lampard in ramazzani central and push giannakop back to midfield.. eliop will be on bench wont he?

These are the matches that Retre is required. It will be 9 days between the Australia Cup quarter final and the NPL Victoria Elimination Final. He should be able to play out around 80 minutes on Sunday.

Problem is if we make the NPL Victoria Grand Final. Retre will not be able to play 3 matches in the space of 6-7 days (NPL Victoria Semi Final, Australia Cup Semi Final, and NPL Victoria Grand Final). He'll need to miss one one of those matches.

There was talk of him before Sinisa was appointed as a potential candidate...he doesnt have the experience for the SMFC bench or most top NPL teams. There would be a plethora of candidates to gonfor before settlint om fausto, whonis a good enough guy, but raw and without experience!

Doesnt seem real to me tbh.

Yea as I say, pretty sure he’s been around coaching in some form for close to 20 years atleast. You’d think if he would have made inroads by now if he was going to
