Yep, I was hopeful of a positive result when Bartlett got that early wicket but it went downhill from there.As per usual we sucked against spin.

They wont use their bloody feet, like they are stuck in concrete. Even our best spin player Philippe was unable to get into stride.Yep, I was hopeful of a positive result when Bartlett got that early wicket but it went downhill from there.
It probably had a lot to do with money.They wont use their bloody feet, like they are stuck in concrete. Even our best spin player Philippe was unable to get into stride.
What the hell was the reason for dumping our academy and with it spin friendly practice decks made specially for Asian tours. CA has a lot to answer for. Is only interested in its white ball cash cow, T20.
In Tests he averaged 31 with bat and 32 with ball. Green will eat him and his stats for breakfast by his career end.As much as I hate to admit it we're never going to find anyone like that.
Green only one getting runs off this spin heavy attack. Dead set looks to me too that dude did have a bent elbow Greeny. You were robbed.
Well grazor I may have to change my mind as reckon our great record is coming to an end this yr, given the batters we have picked for what will be challenging spinning wickets. Australia is habitually inept against the turning ball bar a handful of guys other than Smith, one is Jason Sangha and he also was omitted from this WC squad.I am for two reasons, our great international record
He is also one of the head honchos at the Blues Academy. No great loss as he did zilch to promote young talent during a majority of his 11 yr tenure. A prime example is Raf MacMillan who was never given a deserved rookie contract that then offered him to Tassie cricket on a platter...https://www.cricketnsw.com.au/news/4441769/greg-shipperd-to-leave-cricket-nsw
Cricket NSW are giving Sydney Sixers and New South Wales men's head coach Greg Shipperd the sack, announcing that he'll part ways with the organisation at the conclusion of season 2025-26. He'll oversee the remainder of the Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup campaign, and it's not clear if there will be a sole replacement taking on both roles or whether there'll be separate head coaches.
You dont agree @rebelliousfeminist974 . There were also two occasions where rookies sat on the bench for three long yrs then discarded without the courtesy of a single first class match from Shipperd. From memory one was pace bowler Hunar Verma. Must've been gut wrenching for them.He is also one of the head honchos at the Blues Academy. Only with RK on the boundary with him operating the sight screen. I asked him about batting on the Kangaroo Bay pitch?DC you have met and chatted with Riley Kingsell, whereas I am yet too. Well you may not know it but he is a current Blues rookie and with Daniel Hughes prob retiring he may be promoted to a full contract for the remaining four matches or at the very least be debuted as a rookie. Blues bosses are now using a youth focused policy after years of neglecting the best young players. Bout bloody time too.
@Decentric
Raf MacMillan bowled well for the Tas second eleven. Kuhnemann is ahead of him for the Tas first 11.He is also one of the head honchos at the Blues Academy.
