Sure, if you start a thread there is an option to have a poll@grazorblade any way in which we can create a quick poll here to see if ppl think the FA changes will positively or negaitvely affect the championship?

Its so getting binned. Will be shattered if is.
Yeah man, but tell me you weren't looking forward (especially now that your club is up and about) to coming down to Melbourne to play Preston and Hellas again. ..who cares if it does, and does it really surprise you?!
its not in it's 'real' format anyways.
Support your club in NPL and make that better.
The traditional clubs had by and large been put in a box and forgotten about/left to rot up until about 10 or so years ago, up until the advent of the Australia cup really. But a fire has been lit beneath them in more recent times and they’ve really been awakened from their slumber. If the fa reckons all that will be forgotten and if it’s all too hard they can just go back to how it’s been before they’re mistaken imo. If they try to put a lid back on the traditional clubs its quite likely the more ambitious amongst them atleast could feel backed into a corner and be radicalised to the point of going it alone and forming a revel break away comp or something along those lines if they feel they have no other option. Asking them to just resign themselves to fate could likely be seen as an existential threat to their existence
It will be an utter disgrace if the Australian Championship was cancelled after 1 year. Football Australia has overspent on FTE costs by over $8 million. That is money that should have been spent on programs, leagues, and player development. However, the biggest concern is that now the APL is engineering a reverse takeover of Football Australia, which will mean they will control football in this country and kill off any other competition to protect the A League. We are looking at going back to the scorched earth policy on all football leagues below the A League. Its so getting binned. Will be shattered if is.

I really don’t think that’s the case. Most people want both the A-League and the lower tiers to survive. It will be an utter disgrace if the Australian Championship was cancelled after 1 year. It is utterly sickening.
most people dont make money from football... the APL wants to..I really don’t think that’s the case. Most people want both the A-League and the lower tiers to survive.
Would lowkey love to see Croatia play Hellas in the cup. Hopefully a good atmosphere with good food for such a historic fixture.Theres always the Australian Cup.
If we win tonight, that could possibly be on the cards.

Personally, I'd be disgusted if the Championship or any kind of NST got canned altogether. It would be a massive retreat and set us back another decade at least. It really doesn't cost much in the grand scheme of things. FA just paid a former employee nearly $1m for the website. It's sickening what's going on there.who cares if it does
Just want to see our great clubs playing again in a better competition against clubs with supporters, financial clout, and decent facilities.who cares if it does, and does it really surprise you?!

I hope not. Just want to see all levels of football succeed.I really don’t think that’s the case. Most people want both the A-League and the lower tiers to survive.
Will always be the best comp we’ve got in this country imo. Truly national, clubs from everywhere and every tier, as close to sporting merit as you’re gonna get.Theres always the Australian Cup.

Again, surely if they do that they’re sewing the seeds for a revolution/break away rebel comp, as much as they have bigger fish to fry youd imagine the afc, fifa etc would be on the traditional clubs side on thisIt will be an utter disgrace if the Australian Championship was cancelled after 1 year. Nsw-Vic super league if all else failsJust want to see our great clubs playing again in a better competition against clubs with supporters, financial clout, and decent facilities.
Australian Championship has been a great opportunity to develop future players, referees, administrative staff, volunteers, coaching, etc
Lets not go backwards.
