The Australian Championship šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗšŸ†

On that champagne football podcast, Claudes the SBS pundit was tiptoeing around the streaming figures for SBS being similar to Aleague streaming figures... again take with a grain of salt, but if thats the case.... SBS would be mad to NOT try and promote "their" comp at a better time slot next year.
Of course.

yeah but we both know its a different demographic.. Sure there is minor overlap but they can both "breathe" in the same space... All it takes a little bit of cooperation to NOT schedule a big Aleague match in the same city as a big Championship derby that night...
Ground availability usually kyboshes that idea.

I'm not sure the conditions were that exciting so as to be considered climactic... ;)
That gosh darn autocorrect, how presumptuous of my phone to think just because that’s normally what I’d be typing into google search under regular circumstances that that’s what I meant this time

"Despite pre-launch rumours that it would be short-lived, Isaac says FA’s board has decided to support the Championship for five years. "

So worst case scenario is it is around for 5 years. That's good news. I hope there is opportunity for growth in those 5 years

Interesting, wonder if that necessarily means in this format. Recall people involved with the clubs saying that this format wouldn’t be sustainable long term particularly in terms is squad management etc

I’d refrain from referring to that insufferable d1ckf0r as a ā€˜pundit’, if I were you..

And SBS should also be paying for the privilege of broadcasting it as well.

Interesting that many are picking Marconi for the smash and grab win.

Im coming around to the fact that this is going to be a difficult assignment for us away from Lakeside but also that its at a ground thats left us with plenty of scars in the past and a number of players from those games will be involved in this final.

Also think if the forecast gets worse and the rain is severe we wont be able to pin Marconi back as much and the long throw will probably need to be binned.

Neutrals do tend to support the underdog so take it as a bit of flattery

The pressure being on Hellas will be a factor infront of their fans and after all the history that’s lead up to this moment imo.

The longer it goes on scoreless, the more of a scrap it’ll become imo. Two clubs who aren’t afraid of tactical ā€œgame managementā€. An early goal either way will likely change the game massively. Im not convinced it’ll be a pretty game, but think it’s gonna be an interesting
