Yeah even League One would be a higher level than a lot of top flights around the world.

The gap gets bigger as you go up in the pyramid, as evident by the FA Cup where you get the odd few cupsets where teams placed lower in the table or even in lower divisions beat teams above them in the lower leagues (League One and below). It’s also why usually at least one promoted team gets relegated back to the Championship after a season in the Premier League (last season it was Burnley and the two seasons before that all three went back down), whereas in the lower tiers it becomes more and more likely for promoted teams to stay up.
 
I kinda feel like the snapchat thing was blown up to be more than it was. I certainly laugh at my own teams when they get beaten badly 😅 and he did the upside-down smiley so not to be taken seriously.

His words in this video about being too young and scared at 18 matches up with the other story I heard about him, that he really was sad and upset that he rejected the previous World Cup call-up because he thought he wasn't ready and would be criticised/written off straight away. Also makes sense after his youth rejections. I think he's more sensitive than he appears.
