A Bench Press of 120 kg 1 rep Max, is impressive, LFC!
Thanks
I should know. I've failed to Bench Press 120kg on many occasions. Particularly, if you've never weighed more than 80kg.
Some of us skinny runts have some grunt
You must have worked hard to achieve this.
A combo of youth and being "active" - during my gym workout phase I was surfing alot and playing Prem football, so my upper body was well tuned combined with doing weights.
Can you set out your WTing program?
Been long ago to recall very well our routine but I seem to recall session breakdown was over a hour or so....3days on 1 off and repeat.
Shoulders/Back one session
Chest/Arms next session
Legs next

4sets each 8/10 reps done slowly.
I cracked 120 a number of times but maybe 3 odd reps each time - it was my max.
Mind you it wasn't about how heavy you pumped it was how disciplined you did the rep to achieve great .
We knew a few serious body builders back in the day and they showed us how many casuals like us didn't do it well/the many cheats people do at bicep/tricep curls and not having a straight back amongst other excercise's.
Bench its all about slow down and slow push up - bench "flies" with dumb bells, do them properly you feel the burn and firm improvement of your chest.
Used to luv it but I dislike the "gym" culture real wank.

Surfing/football/gym - then I also got influenced into the lycra set in prep for pre season football - used to do 70k rides to prime my skinny leg muscles.
That lasted a few years but I got spooked IF ever falling off at high speed having seen some carnage over the times and thoght F this.
