It’s not really about what I believe in relation to Triantis. If Poppa had brought him on for 30 seconds during the World Cup Qualifiers he’d be tied to Australia forever. That’s just a fact.

With regards to Segecic, I strongly suspect he wouldn’t have changed nationality if Poppa had showed him more love, but I can’t prove that.

Popa and his “back in moi day ya had to foight to play for ya country” might have made sense to a sh*tkicker like Popovic playing in the J league but for these guys already carving it up in Europe you can’t afford to fxck around with them. That stupid camp where he dragged Segecic all the way from Europe to sit his arse on the bench so he could watch a bunch of A league nuffies probably tilted him to the Croats. But don’t worry we snagged Suto and Karacic so it’s even stevens.
