Aussies abroad šŸŒšŸ¦˜

Apparently some fake instagram accounts trying to foment trouble between Irankunda and the club (saying he wants to move to Norwich).

Norwich forum saying the comments aren't from real accounts.

Whatever is really happing... it aint good.
Idle Africans and Asians are perpetually online and have smartphone farms that stir up a lot of spam and drama online.

Annoying for Irankunda but I'm sure he laughs it off.

Karacic and Suto? Karacic is average at best, plays for a low level Croatian club and is injury-prone, and Suto is a bench player in the SPL. We lose nothing if we didn’t have either or both of them.
Ante Å uto has four goals in 337 minutes. He’s a great super sub who we could’ve used in games like the first qualifiers against Bahrain and Indonesia or later on the game against Japan.

It’s not really about what I believe in relation to Triantis. If Poppa had brought him on for 30 seconds during the World Cup Qualifiers he’d be tied to Australia forever. That’s just a fact.

With regards to Segecic, I strongly suspect he wouldn’t have changed nationality if Poppa had showed him more love, but I can’t prove that.
If that's all it took to send Triantis away (I don't believe it is) then he has a heart the size of a pea and would never become a decent International Player for us. The facts are he was picked in one squad and didn't get game time, got picked in the next squad and refused to come then skipped to Greece. Good luck to him in his career but if we had cap tied him when he obviously doesn't want to play for us then he wouldn't be much use to us. We are better off with players who want to play for us.

and disappearing at the first opportunity suggests otherwise.
I'd love everyone who was born in Australia to want the shirt no matter the setback they face

the reality is, we don't have that and any player good enough to lift our current standard is probably capable of being tempted by other countries. Remember irankunda announced in a press conference he was about to defect. Robbo deleted all socceroo photos from his instagram after hearing he wasn't being picked for the asian cup (did his hammy anyway). Every country in the world, including powerhouses are chasing dual nationals

We should only do what other countries do, sega apparently got contact every single week from croatia and barely any from poppa and football australia. If he plays a single minute for us he is locked in for three years, once he is locked and then you can play hard to get to make him hungry

I get that we don’t want players to get injured, but the reality is that there is still 7 weeks to go until our first World Cup game, and 5 weeks until the first friendly v Mexico. I don’t think it would be ideal if we have players not playing a competitive game for that long. In the case of Toure for example, Norwich have only one more game next Saturday, and I think it would be better for Toure to get some time there ( and not get injured of course!), particularly as he seems to me to be a player who gets a bit rusty if he doesn’t play for a while.
Our camp is around May 7 in Florida. Some players can have a brief holiday before then. 3 weeks together is good but comes across as long too compared to club pre season camps only going a max of 10 days.

There will be an early group arriving then another and then the final ones. Irvine and Metcalfe might have a relegation play off. McGree has playoffs.

Id start it a week earlier, get some of the a league players not in the finals and see who is up to standard

Hey stats guys and gals on here, how many contemporary Oz players have captained overseas clubs? McGowan plus just off the top of my head (and Google AI's head) there's also Jackson Irvine (St Pauli), Aiden O'Neill (Standard Liege), Bailey Wright (Bristol City, Sunderland), Cam Burgess(Swansea), Martin Boyle (Hibs), Mat Ryan (Valencia ok just pre-season game!), Al Circati (Parma), Harry Souttar (Sheffield Utd, Stoke City), Cam Devlin (Hearts). Who else? I reckon that's a pretty outstanding leadership record especially for a non-European nation.
Bailey Wright has also captained Lion City Sailors in addition to previously captaining Bristol City and Sunderland.

Current or also former? Men or also women?

Katrina Gorry captains West Ham and Clare Wheeler has captained Everton (she’s basically third captain). Wini Heatley used to captain NordsjƦlland till she joined Roma. Polly Doran is vice-captain for Linkƶping.
Mackenzie Arnold used to be West Ham captain before Katrina Gorry took over and is currently vice-captain at Portland Thorns also.

No game time for John Iredale, who was not in the matchday squad altogether for Seoul E-Land in their 2-1 K League 2 loss to Hwaseong FC.

From memory did Popa give Milianovic debut minutes over Segecic and Teague debut minutes over Triantis?
Milanovic definitely got debut minutes over Adrian Segecic in the first leg of the Soccer Ashes in September and I think it may have been the case with Ryan Teague also.
