Great to see four players back in action and that Holly Mac is okay. She really is tough as nails.Caley Tallon-Henniker promoted to the extended squad for Sydney FC ahead of A-League Women matchday 15 getting underway, along with Dylan Holmes finally making her return to play from Adelaide United following a bone fracture. Grace Maher returns for Melbourne Victory, as does Danella Butrus for Melbourne City. Holly McNamara is right for this week after sustaining an injury last week but Canberra United are still without Tegan Bertolissio who has either been omitted from the squad, has sustained an injury or is still serving her suspension.
I think unfortunately Canberra United is likely to fold at season's end, leaving players like Michelle Heyman clubless going into season 2026-27 as Capital Football have reiterated that this will be their last season running the club and we haven't heard anything regarding investors or new ownership yet.Is there any talk what's happening to Canberra united at the end of the season?
So fucking sad that we keep losing clubs.I think unfortunately Canberra United is likely to fold at season's end, leaving players like Michelle Heyman clubless going into season 2026-27 as Capital Football have reiterated that this will be their last season running the club and we haven't heard anything regarding investors or new ownership yet.
Burning bridges forever if they lose Canberra. The league would be shooting themselves in the foot again.I think unfortunately Canberra United is likely to fold at season's end, leaving players like Michelle Heyman clubless going into season 2026-27 as Capital Football have reiterated that this will be their last season running the club and we haven't heard anything regarding investors or new ownership yet.
Nice to see Rasmussen pushing McNamara for the golden boot, she must be taking note of adding penalties to her total as does McNamara.Roar 2–2 Mariners. Ashlyn Miller and Daisy Brown with goals for Brisbane, Annalise Rasmussen with a brace including a penalty for Central Coast. What a season she's having!
Excluding pens she would be top at the moment.Nice to see Rasmussen pushing McNamara for the golden boot, she must be taking note of adding penalties to her total as does McNamara.
