Sign Up Now!Women’s change rooms I think there will be Women Npl teams next year at the clubAny idea what’s being built behind the goals at ilinden sports centre ?
The extra 8 rounds was an adjustment but it’s necessary for football to improve. How do NSW and Victoria manage 30+ matches when other federations' clubs complain about the workload on volunteers with just 18-22 matches?
Sydney FC women?Women’s change rooms I think there will be Women Npl teams next year at the club
And gym, media room all those bits and bobs
??John Anastasiadis to Avondale?
I don’t think going to 30 rounds was necessary for NSW clubs are forking out more money and the season is so jammed packedThe extra 8 rounds was an adjustment but it’s necessary for football to improve.
No concrete evidences on this but the rumour mill on X is Johnny A to South MelbourneJohn Anastasiadis to Avondale?
That’s great to hear. We need more investment in football infrastructure around the country.Women’s change rooms I think there will be Women Npl teams next year at the club
And gym, media room all those bits and bobs
I think it's possible that the Sydney FC women's team would be based out of Ilinden Sports Centre whilst Leichhardt Oval is undergoing renovations but we won't know for sure until the Dub fixtures for season 2026-27 are released.Sydney FC women?
Sorry, that's not what I meant. The extra matches are great, I'm just wondering how the clubs accepted it when other federation clubs complain about anything over 22 matches, the volunteers can't handle it apparently, maybe it's something in the water? The extra 8 rounds was an adjustment but it’s necessary for football to improve.
The cup being midweek is just Football NSW having no idea.I don’t think going to 30 rounds was necessary for NSW clubs are forking out more money and the season is so jammed packed
Having cup finals mid week isn’t good enough
Not sure to be honest. I know some clubs weren’t happy at the time but it ended up happening.Sorry, that's not what I meant. The extra matches are great, I'm just wondering how the clubs accepted it when other federation clubs complain about anything over 22 matches, the volunteers can't handle it apparently, maybe it's something in the water?
We are absolutely terrible better off not making finals just to be a number in the finals other clubs deserve it more
New coach next year confirmed resume isn’t the greatest but can’t be worse than this putrid football Paul Dee has served up and the ridiculous signings too
Nah, I think it was done because Graham Arnold wanted clubs to play at least 30 games which makes sense to me if we want to be a football nation.
Watched most of this, it was ALOT uglier than the stats show...Can’t see Dandy surviving VPL 1 at this rate..

Well Bentleigh, Western United and soon Heidelberg are all in a MUCH BETTER place after he left them so I would prefer the goes to Avondale than anywhere elseJohn Anastasiadis to Avondale?
And it has. The extensive embarassment of the A League teams is plain for all see. Still 30 games plus finals for semi pro teams is a bit of a stretch. The extra 8 rounds was an adjustment but it’s necessary for football to improve.
para hills broke the record for most goals conceeded in an SA NPL season, finishing up with 103 conceeded
yea I do remember this discussion happening at the time nowcorrect it was all about getting the youth more games and more football in this country.
That also came with the rules you need certain number of players that are under 21s or something in your match day lineup.
