Still not a fan of finals. Almost as bad as the AL where half the teams make it. Can't call a team that finishes 6th and wins the GF the champions.

We are absolutely terrible better off not making finals just to be a number in the finals other clubs deserve it more
Dandenong Thunder will be one of the better teams in VPL 1 next year though and won't be conceding that many shots at goal.

Wasn’t the 16 teams done with the idea that x number or clubs would leave for the championship and then it would condense again
Only problem is as we discovered when it went to a first past the post for a season or two you need something for teams to play for. In other leagues globally that either comes from promotion spots or continental qualification spots. Npl has neither. So you end up having vast majority of the league playing for pride second half of the season.
See if they get someone $$$ next year but with Gully and Bentleigh in the league going to be tough...thank god this year wasn't too bad for knights
