Frigging Arncliff A - you never even heard of that crowd back in the day - how times change, once StG putting aside the 2 entities modern times were Kings of the league.

Interesting this is true, would that mean they’ll take their place in npl? For those interstate? Arncliffe are a Lebanese club in the lower leagues who have been getting very good support in recent years

thanks G I know of the diff, prob is its still using the same leading brand St George ala formerly Budapest.
That shouldn't have been approved originally and IF they bubought StG FA should be absorbed into Arncliff Aurora imo.
Would you like having MarconiFC and then a MarconiFA for eg.

well it will be interesting to see how they will play out of belmore when it will be under construction lol

Arncliffe hasnt bought out St George FA yet, but it's been talk for years as St George is bleeding Money. Some board members at St George have ties with Arncliffe and will look to take over the club and re-brand in the near future. Its the only way they can get into NPL, cause they have already been rejected to play under Arncliffe.

Guess what is funding Arncliffe Aurora, Bikies money.

Long Story Short, St George FA will be Arncliffe Aurora Eventually. Very interesting times ahead.

SMFC was all about the other StG club getting a SAP/YL license and entry into PL4 - gaining promotion PL3 needed to break away from the StGFC body - complicated see below.
