Sydney Olympic will be on a budget unless someone else is prepared to put money. Players were told this week. Will mostly be 20 year olds at this point.

FNSW has already rejected Arncliffe to join the NPL pyramid table, reason is that "there is too many clubs from the St George District"

But we all know the real reason why they didn't get accepted. They are one of the most troubled clubs along with Banksia Tigers.

So they only way they can get to NPL is through the back door and take over an existing club. Similar to Bulls taking over Northbridge and re-branding.

Lets just hope this merger never happens (St George & Arncliffe).

i have friends that play in the premier league in that district, and there is dramas every week, weapons etc.

can you imagine that at an NPL level, it wouldn't end well.

Its like a district or association entering a team to compete.

So southern districts for example has 40+ clubs within that district which includes, Sydney united, Marconi etc. In 2012 SDSFA entered a joint venture with State League Side Fairfield Bulls to form Southern Bulls. The partnership fell apart in 2014, and SDSFA took over and renamed it SD Raiders in 2016.

They generate money through each clubs regos and player regos. So for example, a rego last season at Sydney United costed around $500, which is a break up to the following organizations;

Football Australia
FNSW
SDSFA
Refeeres
Sydney United

So they take a cut from each player, which has now funded there NPL side. They don't have fans and are a soulless club.

It will be similar with St George FA etc.

I play in that league it’s an absolute mess
 
yes I concur with Berreta and Zelen.
Friggin just at grass roots club football it becomes mayhem - pity the refs tbh.
Drama upon drama as if your playing a cup final.
These types always try to go through the backdoors.
 
Both 2 clubs in the St George area which have been mentioned before also have not been scrutinised as much as a Rockdale or Sydney United everything gets swept under the rug hope to never see them in the Npl system

Arncliffe got the council to renovate Rockdales old stadium (Riverine Park) buddy they aren’t buying our ground 😂

If you say so buddy not one Greek in your team and the only one there doesn’t even want to be at the club

Olympic are finished bud no supporters 20 pensioners and a couple of Sap kids good luck won’t be a club for much longer even the Greeks in Sydney hate your club 👍🏼
