Basically they decided to bring it back to Melbourne.

One should always have the information before an opinion is formed. Absolutely nothing would surprise me, so anything could be the truth. Maybe FA rejected quickly because they're just shit lazy? Who knows mate? It's a silly nothing-burger bringing up a complaint without telling anyone what it's about.

This is why I like what Rosich did with the CBA media release the other day. It's letting the fans know where exactly they're at with it, and I appreciate it. PFA can cry about it because the players didn't know, but that seems negligible, what's the issue with it?
 
Dont know what purpose it serves breaking a story like that (heard it from numerous people myself) yet not being able to expand on why. This seems like an unfair dig at AU. If the reason why surfaces and its legit thats a different story.

I think the way they're rushing through the rounds helps the npl teams. I recall last yr the semi was played right at the end of August, its on track to be the same this year.

There was a 5 week gap between the semis and the final last year. I think that helped the Jets a lot, gave us more time to prepare and get season ready and would have halted Heidelbergs momentum a little. Not that I’m complaining! 😂

whoever has told pete that information is feeding him porkie pies.

AU took that match extremely seriously (as they always do in the cup) and were beaten by the better side. AU started that match very well, but then you started seeing passes not sticking, concentration levels failing and players struggling with match fitness.

Were the players and coaching staff upset at losing? Absolutely, but they weren't tossing plastic chairs and water bottles around lol. Nothing to complain to the FA about, It's not as though there was an error by the ref or an ineligible player on the field.

Trust me when I say, as soon as the match was over and the team debriefed - it was straight onto getting the preparations right for the ACL match on tuesday

The things you hear in the NPL sometimes :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ....

As for "error from the ref" umm well, not sure Adelaide have much of a leg to stand on there brate, I counted 3 clear offsides that, thankfully, didn't lead to goals that went your way. Fact is, we had a ripper night after a shaky start and we bossed you in the midfield... it happens.

As i said yesterday, if you are going to make that claim back it up with the reason. Throwing it out and then letting it spread like wildfire with nothing attached to it is poor form. We wouldnt like that done to us.

when i say error from the ref, i dont mean in that match (i thought the ref was pretty good) i dont think any of the decisions were contentious in the slightest.

slightly off topic

AU have previously (last year) complained to the head of a league refs in regards to how a certain ref (daniel elder) reffed matches against them. It was a very detailed report and several bits of video were used showing his decisions against AU compared to the same incidents when he refs other clubs.

AU feels that elder since he is from adelaide, purposely refs to hard against them in comparison to other sides

theres zero hard feelings towards souths from AU
