BREAKING NEWS: I can confirm that next Wednesday Night's Australia Cup round of 16 clash between North Sunshine Eagles and Heidelberg United has had a last minute change of match venue which was originally at Ironbark Fields now be played at Naisol Stadium (home of Hume City) kickoff time 7.45pm.

Interesting. Wonder what the reasoning is

I’ve seen this on Twitter/X. Apparently it was mentioned last night at the South Melbourne fan forum that Adelaide United tried to get the result reversed on some technicality. Football Australia dismissed it pretty quickly. If true, that is appalling. Lose with dignity.

Has not been mentioned but the fact it was allegedly rejected by Football Australia quickly tells you a lot. Sounds like it was frivolous and baseless.

Adelaide players/officials were visibly annoyed they had both lost to and been outplayed by an NPL team.

Basically they decided to bring it back to Melbourne.
