Like I was saying, that freebie farewell concert put on by the local council is in September so the availability was never in doubt.
something was in doubt as they took their sweet ass time.

South Melbourne have brought in five new players from OFC Pro League and A-League Men sides in addition to bringing Bul Juach back to NPL Victoria after his stint in the Canadian Premier League and promoting Skapoulas to the senior playing list during the mid-season transfer window, but twelve players have been culled and both Nahuel Bonada and Ilia Shalamanov-Trenkov were also loaned out to Preston Lions and Altona Magic respectively. Not sure many players you have who are new from last season? I only really liked about 3 of them, the left back being one of them and a midfielder.

Fairly niche topic this, but looks like they’re going to attempt to enforce some kind of segregation of wanderers and victory fans at the Marconi club this weekend. Will be interesting to see how it’s done. Will they put up temporary fencing, will victory fans be able to roam around the ground, have access to the canteen (right under where the RBB have been allocated) or the social club pre/post game. I can’t remember seeing “gate 2” (basically just a place where the perimeter fencing can be opened and closed to the street) being used at all in the modern era. It’s always been everyone just enter through the main gate under the giant soccer ball.
Can’t imagine there would be a huge travelling contingent from Melbourne for this game, but I’m sure there will be some. Such an interesting cross over or eras having Melbourne victory fans visit the Marconi club
It's a council owned facility. They needed confirmation from them I'd say all things considering.something was in doubt as they took their sweet ass time.
Credit to this bloke for getting down and creating the content. But his accent reminds me of the bloke who used to do vpl commentary on channel 31 in the 00s
Hearing not many travelling from all the reports i've had from some fellow members i know over the weekend since the announcement (re flights very very expensive on short notice) most either are involved in their catch up rescheduled fixtures this week or attending Dockerty Cup final at Lakeside Stadium on Saturday.View attachment 8608

If Brisbane and MacArthur win where will the match be?View attachment 8543
can see here how a majority of vic sides are playing vic sides and nsw sides playing nsw sides. Very lucky/unlucky depending on how you look at it.
Will be interesting to see which venues a few of these ties are played at.
There was a suggestion from someone a few weeks back that sd were interested in hosting a double header with APIA. Will be interesting to see if they peruse that
