Perhaps Jankovic and Lampard flying over may solve that issue too. Lets see what happens.

We are going to need a massive effort on Saturday if some players are forced to play on Thursday and Friday.

Agree but we should be getting the job done against Dandenong Thunder on Saturday even with a similar lineup to the one fielded against Green Gully last week especially given that they're second from bottom in NPL Victoria and have lost four straight matches, in addition to being winless in their last five.
 
Dandenong seem to play a lot better at home than they do away. I would expect a difficult night but we've put 4 wins on the board which means a slip up is not going to hurt our position much.

The Soloman kings game petrifies me because if we lose i have no idea what the club does with the squads next month. If we win though we can send the reserves over to Fiji. In addition to that it would be great for our players to win in front of 10-12k people. Physically i just dont know if we are capable.

exavt reason why that lineup on Sunday made no sense whatsoever!

Nownit very much depends on the bandaid fixes we apply and hope that it all comes good...was a good chance to get some rest in for a tired squad and we dropped the ball.

We desperately need to beat the Solomon Kings on Thursday night, as we cannot afford to send another half-half squad for the next Fiji hub. I wouldn't be surprised if Lampard joined Pasquali on those flights to Honiara. That loss to Vanuatu United has complicated things.

I think Marco Jankovic may already be in Honiara ahead of our match against Solomon Kings on Thursday or the graphic designers at South Melbourne just decided to use his picture as promotional material whilst he stays put ahead of the Dandenong Thunder road game Saturday.
