It is to be expected. Probably more locals in Auckland with a Fijian or Vanuatu background. Probably there were a few Auckland fans that decided to watch both games as well. If Tonga was playing, you would see a pretty big crowd as well.

Yeah I agree, still FIFA (and the Saudis) have chucked a bit of money into this I would have hoped the marketed it a bit more to get the crowds in.... I wonder if they are going to make an effort with the Melbourne hub, there will be plenty of expats from all the Oceania teams they could get excited about attending, we may even be embarrased on our own home deck...

Could Saturday get washed out as well?
Having a look at the weather yeah probably unless they can move it back to Eden Park maybe

Another washout would impact South the most. The other OFC Pro League teams only have to worry about this competition. We are the only ones having to play in another concurrent competition.

e back end but are we better off with 2 cancellations in this hub? Whenever those make up games take place we should have Lopez back and maybe a few more quality pieces added to the team (hopefully Aguek)
Even if its just 1 match cancelled, it does allow for Lopez to play (assuming not injured or too many yellow cards).

I really hope we are on the phone to Aguek organising his return.

I hear the argument of fixture congestion on the back end but are we better off with 2 cancellations in this hub? Whenever those make up games take place we should have Lopez back and maybe a few more quality pieces added to the team (hopefully Aguek)
Yeah maybe would make a difference against Soloman Kings but PNG team looks pretty week, we could beat with the squad that played Preston last night.
