I call it a genocide because it's been defined as one by the UN, the ICJ, and the ICC. It's not about what you see. You choosing to not see it is you choosing to be blind to the horrendous killings and atrocities committed by the state of Israel since 1947.
I do call out both sides of war when both sides are at fault. Hamas wasn't around in 1947. You said it yourself, "hopefully", which means that even you can't categorically deny that what Israel is doing is on purpose. How was Hind Rajab shot more than 300 times if it was precision army work? How have more children and aid workers been killed than in any other conflict combined? Video upon video evidence shows the IDF making up lies, like when they lied about a calendar.
I don't mind engaging, but it's clear you come from a bigoted standpoint. Using the word Islamist to imply that the problem is the religion, which in turn says that you want to wipe all Muslims.
Beitar Jerusalem is an openly racist and bigoted football club, yet gets to compete in UEFA competitions and benefit from the money. Israel footballers have served in the IDF and have killed children, women, civilians. Palestinian footballers are not killing and committing war crimes. Hamas are not committing war crimes. The hostages released by Hamas were better treated, well fed, and nourished, unlike those released by the IDF.
You want to sanction Palestinian football, go ahead. There is nothing to sanction because the Palestinian footballers are being forced into hunger and famine by the IDF. The IDF killed arguably the greatest Palestinian footballer whilst he was waiting for aid. No one said anything about that. Israel and Israel football benefits from their genocide.
When people were opposed to the Apartheid rule of law in South Africa, I'm sure you wouldn't have said, "Sanction the black people too".
