Wsw v Chelsea match thread

I liked the way WSW tried to Squeeze intensively in the Chelsea defensive half trying to disturb the Chelsea build ups.

Possibly because of our summer football season in the AL, last season most AL teams tend to sit off the opposition in Half Presses and Partial Presses with only minimal Squeezing.

At Socceroo level when some teams like Turkey, USA, Venezuela, have gegenpressed Aus, we’ve struggled.

I’m aware in the first half there were only 4 or so Chelsea players who had EPL experience. It was apparent how good the quality of the experienced EPL players were in the second half as subs.

Can’t believe the French national who scored 3 and Cole Palmer weren’t good enough for their national WC squads? They would walk into almost every other national team!

Fwiw Im not an ultra and I never claimed to be. I think we’ve reached an impasse. We’ve both said our piece, agree to disagree.

My wife was saying they must be enjoying being away trip like this and playing ?- I said watch how the ball was bobbling between pass's, they must have thought wtf this goat track haha
No matter what touring holiday team plays you never see more enthusiasm in our locals in these games.
They always look as if every run they make like their life depended on it.

What was the split of fans like, LFC?
