USA in Seattle on Fri 19 June.

Paraguay in San Francisco on Thurs 25 Jun

Assuming the seeds win all their groups in this:

Top the group, and we play B, E, F, I, J 3rd place (depending which top 8 they are) in San Francisco on July 1

Finish second in the group, and we play the runner up of Group G (Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand) in Dallas on June 30

Finish third in the group, and we play either:
* Germany in Boston on June 29
* France in New York on June 30
* Portugal in Kansas City on July 3

If we come second in our group then we get the runner up of group G in the round of 32 at AT&T Stadium so we could well have a Soccer Ashes matchup against New Zealand to get the knockout stage underway depending on how results pan out.

I like our chances. Really couldn't have asked for a match better draw. All fairly even. We could get 9 points or 0. My guess 4. with a good GD - but really hoping for better.

I was about to ask, who do we want for friendlies (noting we can’t play those in our group) - but then I remembered we’ll have that bullshit FIFA Series so probably won’t get a say.

Although a friendly pre World Cup in US/Canada during the final prep could be fit in I suppose

Need it to be tactically similar and not just a neighbouring nation.

Don't even know who's free but Ecuador having travelled to Australia before may be on but then unqualified nations like Chile or Peru. Costa Rica?

FA confirmed that the March FIFA Series will be our World Cup send off - I think it will most likely be non-qualifiers.

These countries are already booked for other FIFA Series btw as well.

If FIFA lets us choose/arrange (and also assuming a single May/June friendly in USA - I’d love us to play:

* Chile/Peru
* Serbia
* Canada
