Talladira was dodgy enough against Asian opponents.
 
Australia quite narrow in defense. I'm guessing that's deliberate
 
Esposito really standing out more than he was in the asian cup

part of that is the need for more last ditch defending

but quite a few high class 1v1s

As opposed to Okon so far... The Socceroo. Some of these players need to use their education.

Felt that sequence was fortunate as we used a lot of hands to regain possession. Ref going well in her delayed decision making allowing time for the game to flow and assess accordingly.
 
Managers have two VAR requests per game.
 
Feel we have had better chances, but we haven't so far had that composure in front of goal which was so clinical in the asian cup. Reckon the calibre of the opponent is in a few players heads. Need a good half time talk
 
Could be 2:2 or 2:0 for Italy so far. Australia certainly not out of it but Italy with the scarier chances.

Our chances have been less hectic ones. Bit more composure and we score. Italy with a few rockets just over but part of the game where that'll happen. The secondary bounce in our hox is worrisome as it often lands to Italy.

Italy break but Australia block the cross. Italy's final 3rd build up is organised while Australia standing off a bit.

bennie had a 1v1 from a decent angle, then the flick on, I think jovanovic had another I've forgottong

not counting the talladira shot as a big chance though
