He will improve as polishing both disciplines takes time. Whether he will play international cricket is up in the air at the moment.I have LS earmarked for higher honours.

Yeh I saw his economy. But wickets win cricket matches DC.No.
Bird bowled well in the first dig. Bowled without luck in the second.
Yeh, not scoring those vital runs tho. His only score over 50 has been in a List A game...Webster took 8 wickets.
This has been a very rare occurance of a core bowling group quartet playing so many tests over many years. The transition period will be huge over the next 12-24 months. Likely Starc, Lyon and Hazlewood will be gone and some young kids like Craig will get their opportunity if they're good enough to take the spot.I'm not. Not becuse I have anything against Doggett , is a good bowler, but due to his age. Policy last five yrs has been to have 30 somethings as reserve bowlers, rather than introducing emerging pacemen to that role, providing they have proven their fitness with no sign of back trouble. You guys know the name Craig McDermott, ' Billy the kid' was his nickname because he was picked to make his Test debut at 19. This is what needs to be happening again as these kids will be lost in the future rush if they arent exposed now.
Sounds like Smith played some superb innings under extreme pressure, Baggers.Steven Smith again leading the way.
True.Yeh I saw his economy. But wickets win cricket matches DC.
Yep a pair of 50s DC. In last innings Konstas was second top scorer, which is encouraging. Some former players are calling for Kontas to bat down the order indefinitely. I am with them as when your struggling with your game opening adds extra pressure.Sounds like Smith played some superb innings under extreme pressure, Baggers.
Very talented bowler, but just hasn't done the work required.Jhye Richardson (CAX1) is poised to be given an Ashes audition next week against the England Lions, as he holds out hope of playing his first Test. The match is over four days and will be played at the Lilac Hill ground in Perth. This guy has missed four yrs of cricket but his coach Adam Voges says he is fit and raring to give it to the Poms,
Yes. He is another teachers pet, but this pet I agree with. If fit he is a top shelf fast swing bowler and we dont have too many of them. I was shocked to find he is now 29. I recall Ashes '21 where he took his maiden Test five-wicket haul in Adelaide against England. Had the Poms in disarray. Seems like yesterday..Very talented bowler, but just hasn't done the work required.
Was it 21 when he played a Test or two?Yes. He is another teachers pet, but this pet I agree with. If fit he is a top shelf fast swing bowler and we dont have too many of them. Good partnership.Cam Green posts his 50.
Tuff going against the sec new ball on the WACA pitch for Green 84* and Hardie 20*, nevertheless they are weathering the storm.
Yep I see this too. But I think there is a move happening to have more indigenous players in international cricket. Reason they picked Boland over Neser three yrs ago and Doggett over Bartlett this time. I hope this policy is not being bias towards players that may have earned the baggy green cap more than them. One of the Tas Shield bowlers told us the Aus selectors like Xavier Bartlett.
Has paid off for Sam a WA have Qld 8- 187 at stumps, a lead of 255 when 400 + was on the cards. The visitors tho are probably still favorites.Sam Whiteman has declared behind, a brave tactic.
