Overy gets his manchester united debut and does his acl 30 minutes in
Not if he opts for Scotland!

This squad has been dubbed the bolters on Twitter and I think it's fair enough. At the same time it comes across as really clean or lean. The positioning quantities seem right.

I think there'll be a lot of hunger in this camp.

While Toure and Irankunda need more practice together, we're really not left wondering what can they do as they've delivered in such a short time. The same goes for Bos and Balard. I really hope this window allows us to see Juric that bit more Hut also how McGree and Goodwin combine with others.

I don't mind the selections of Overy, A Toure and Okon. I don't think any really deserved it on merit but I think its a good way to use the bottom of the squad to look at up-and-comers. They all have a tonne of potential.

I'm less enthusiastic about the inclusions of D'Agostino and Juric, although I'll keep an open mind with Juric because his form warrants it.

I think Sapsford and Stamatelopolous are both hard done by given their form. Scotland is a better level than Slovenia. Daggers has no form to speak of, comparatively.

I think Poppa is after a particular player profile. I think he's after someone who is good in the air or has a physical presence. Daggers is good with his head and Juric is a big body - not sure about his heading.

I reckon if a players pops up with this profile they could be a bolter for the world cup squad.

In comparison Sapsford, Stama and even Botic are more clever is terms of their runs, positioning, finishing.

I feel for Yengi but he's really dropped off.

It's a shame about Nishan Velupillay, who scored a brace against Indonesia on his Socceroos debut. He had surgery on his ankle in the off season but in his first game back for Melb Vic he pulls a hammy. Sometimes big challenges and setbacks make a footballer hungrier, to make up for lost time. I hope so, he's got something to offer our frontline.

He has been almost comically dominant so far. I don't recall having a 6 dominate the a league this much since....maybe la rocca?
Keeps on the way he's been going he'll be back in Europe by January.

If that's the case he needs to pick a team where he's playing regularly because at his current rate of progress I'd say he's a shoe-in for the WC next year. An over-ambitious transfer could screw that up for him.

yeah stay away from the mega clubs and just go for a mid table championship/buli2/jupiler/eredivisie club

If NoMates indeed has First Nations ancestry as he claims to, then I’m a Cambodian Cham Muslim..
