Soutar and Herrington had great games. Penalties is a rubbish way to go out, so be it, no recriminations on the players. Thought we couldn't keep possession and we're too slow in our attacking buildup. Irankundu wasn't allowed to run at players being so isolated, and should have been on the wing. Toure had not enough defensive pace, beach was massive. Volparto great, ot sure why he was subbed to be honest.

Once we scored we just went in our shell and as Oar said trying not to loose instead to win while we were on top. Unless this mentality changes Australia wide we can't move forward.
 
If Souttar just hits it lower... Damn. Gutted. Ryan sometimes stays in the middle and Salah shot there.

He won the Asian Championship. He coached well for Turkey and Paraguay. But, I don’t think he’s the guy to get the most out of these players in the long term.

I love Ange but i can see if Ange coaching this team we wouldnt win a game. It would be like Canada in the last WC that attacking any teams and played pretty well but got 0 point.

He just had to go down the middle. I can’t recall a more off target penalty.

Benny Elias wishes he took that kick in the ‘89 GF for Balmain.
