Metcalfe needs to be instructed to go central and get more touches. We're not moving around enough. You wonder what positioning Popovic wants them to maintain.
 
Throw on Segecic and Irakunda for Christ sake.
Put some spark into us.
 
A purely visceral dislike for Tony Popovic. Somewhat demeaning, I know, but what an absolute clown of a coach. He has no clue at all and he's trashing our team.

Yep. He did a job for WC qualifying but it was a close run thing in many games. Now he's putting players in vulnerable inappropriate areas. Maybe it's so he can cut who he wants. Frustrating. Still, a practice game so we can make error but the manner isn't enjoyable.

Also the problem with the starting XI. Only debutant was Izzo. You will nearly always have at least one injury during a game. We have with Silvera this time and Miller was the obvious replacement. Now we have used 2 of the 5 replacements so who won't we see. Irankunda, Segecic, Balard, Toure, Milanovic or more likely we see none of them.

This is the fear. He states players we try aren't what he's looking for then goes back to the old unreliables.

And they won't be picked for the World Cup because they're too inexperienced when he has the chance to give them experience now.
 
I mean lets be real this is anti-football. How can you choose to setup with your best attacking weapons not in the XI??? It's an embarrassment honestly.

Sack him and get in Trevor Morgan for all our sakes.

Everytime we have space and get in a good position, we get to edge of box and stop and wait until they get 10 behind the ball

He did the same at MV. Fustrating
 
I hope to hell someone who cares at Football Australia is the watching this and wondering if it is acceptable to allow Tony Popovic to continue.
