The last game in Canberra the Socceroo's were smashed 0-1 by Bahrain with maybe 10k tops crowd but it would have been inflated by the FA.

The last game in Canberra the Socceroo's were smashed 0-1 by Bahrain with maybe 10k tops crowd but it would have been inflated by the FA.

The last game in Canberra was against Lebanon. It was actually Lebanon's home game and the ground was pretty full, although I think more Lebanese descended people attended the game in Parramatta a few days earlier. I sat next to 6 obvious Lebanese Australians who were in deep discussion about who they would support. In the end they cheered when either side did something good. The Bahrain game was at the Gold Coast and they had a decent crowd although one section at the northern end seemed vacant.
