Seeing the linupe at home and not having the context of the game, that is my impression too... it was another concession to the vanity of the stupid, vain, poorly dressed idiots who are expecting to bring home $450 from the Pacific ocean. It better pay off or the balcony is going to be a ghost town in June...

The biggest problem if anything was messarouni finishing. He actually got into some great positions but fucked up every shot which was really disappointing. Normally one of his only quality's is he is a good finisher so was very disappointing. On the other hand though Singh should not be getting any game time, he's lazy slow and just awful. Pope should have started and messa should have been up front messa if anything should only play striker not midfield.

Skapoulos constantly playing left back is baffling... is there something the coaches see that we dont? As for Singh, sadly enough is enough...
 
I am still annoyed about last night. I hate just giving up on trophies that are there to be won. I don't care that it is the Dockerty Cup. It is there to be won and lifted for a three-peat. We had the perfect chance for a clean sweep of titles this season, and we may not get that opportunity again for a long time.
 
Yeh look as it stands either Bergers, Oaks or Preston are going to win this. The rest of the teams remaining arent much chop. They're also going to qualify for the Australia Cup unless draen against eachother.

We had an opportunity to progress and potentially dump one of them out before the semi final stage.

Cant say i dont agree..... opportunity lost (hoping for the greater good though).... still think that side shouldve offered more given the supposed talent.. didnt expect that display, and am in agreement that this side vs the way better NPL sides will walk away heavily wounded unfortunately. I shall attend the village though...

I actually don't blame you for doing this. I am definitely not paying $20 to Heidelberg to watch Hellas lose 10-0 when we roll out our U23s side.

Mentally i think it will demoralise the team if we dont win the ofc. If we win it you can look back at the npl games given up and the dockerty cup and argue that it was for the greater good, if we dont pocket the 450k and come home from Auckland empty handed its going to get rough.
