I am always wary of relegation bound sides in the final 2-3 rounds... Preston dont have the cakewalk it looks like on paper.

Will not get more than 1500. I know at least a dozen ppl that are out for one reason or another. Crowd will be 50/50 split.

Yeah its hard to replicate last season or the Australia cup the year before.. Its been done now, its not a decade of anticipation its just another derby.
Crowd would have been better if we had a better season to date but Preston will travel to Lakeside , especially their historical and antiquities display society.
We'll get a bit of bump to our normal crowd (at least enough to replace the one missing because its a Saturday and they have other commitments) .

Does not help that Altona and Bergers are on at the same time....

You know what, I agree.... Not having Bonada is gonna leave a big gap for them .... If we get 3 points we could be pushing for top 4 again...

Thats probably the least factor why the crowd will be shit.

Track how many games are on Saturday at the same time. I know 5 guys whose kids play at state league clubs, they will obviously go watch their kids, i know a further 3 blokes who volunteer at state league clubs and got to travel to woop woop.

All of this is out the equation if the game was on Sunday, the crowd would have at least matched last years.

750 ppl each on either grand stand will be the crowd thereabouts.

If this bullshit no night games policy didnt exist we could have been a bit adventurous and gone for the Thursday night.

Looking like a 2k max crowd.
 
Saturday 3.15pm is an awful time. It makes it difficult to attract a good crowd. It is as if FV just do not care about building up well attended fixtures. This match at Saturday 7.30pm would have attracted at least an additional 1,000-1,500 patrons. Just look at what FV has done with the Dockerty Cup Final - 2.30pm on a Saturday!

Can you also tell us what the score is going to be? How about the weather? At least we wont make the Preston fans stand in the pouring rain.
