Madness, so so glad our fellas survived the onslaught whereas seems their thug game paid a price on quite a few of them with bad injuries and Gordon red card.
Deserved everything that came to them.

Hard fought 3 important points this early in the season.

Got to say this guy is a smart gaffa.
Proved it already we are Champs but having to blood new players, play Szobo out of position yet still hold back our team to soak up whatever Arse could throw at us is impressive.
I expected them to score at least how they looked 1st half coming at us but wow, a champion team hold their stations and then strike when they least expect it !
What a frigging Szobo moving ball free kick, I was like WTF watching it in flight - what a player - put him anywhere and the running machine will deliver !
Valuable 3points against the always talked up contenders - take that Arse ! and Arteta especially arrogant P.

Isak saga finally confirmed ! he's our 2nd record signing in this window, unbelievable.
Guehi soon I expect before window close.
Mono, our greek scouser has departed on loan to Roma FYI.

We're setting up a squad for the next 5yrs.
 
I’ve mentioned in some other posts I luved our 3rd kit and here it is got it yesterday and for the 2nd son.

1st Euro night @ Anfield of the season and it delivered for me.
Atleti/Simione always up for it no matter what players are missing - great fighting squad.
The first 20 I actually thought we were gonna blow them away by HT.
1 deflected goal off Robbo in the 4th min your going WTF what a fortunate start - within 2mins later some rippa build up play and MO finish 2up - I was like wow and Atleti were in a mess for some time but as always they gained their composure - you could making more time on the ball good movement here they come and that they did, a well taken goal just on HT, fark it.
Got to say Isak's first appearance after so much time off he showed glimpes whats going to come - happy about that.
Frimpong had a stellar game, infact I think his most rounded and announced well here I am.
Grav was just a beast in the middle MOTM.
Christ almighty that Lorente for them is a top player, bastard that was a cracker strike taken to level the score 81st min.
After we had blew 2/3 chances to break away there we are looking at a draw, well not what the last number of games have ended up.
Few corners won here there I thought come on nail it each set peace, the amount of shirt pulling and dragging down of our players thought a pen sooner or later but no.
Come ET 92min corner again and who nailed it spot on ?! VVD !!!
Man, 8yrs on in our beloved shirt he's still the leading CB in the league let alone the world for me.

Brilliant good win and the new signings are starting to get up to speed, barring Kerkez, so so happy for Robbo last 2 games, he's showing the fight for his spot and actually saying you got to really take it off me Kerkez, great competition @ LB.

The wheels have fallen off - with all the changes/buying/off loading more than we have since I can recall we've upset our our well oiled machine of the last years of Kloppy like mad.
Slotty had it pretty damn good stepping in but man, we've made it hard on ourselves.
Is it the system or the players ?
Our backs are leaking goals so many errors, Ibou what has got into your head lately - leaving to RM ?
I don't know but get your bloody head together.
Kerkez is all too soon starting him up more Slotty - get stable Robbo back in there - let the kid watch listen learn and earn Robbo's spot more.
We are losing ball more than ever before x 4 players alone doesn't help.
Duels lost isn't good for Gapko/MO/Bradley/Wirtz.
Errors by many.
Our midfield just isn't synced/working - when you don't have that offensive defensive working your playing chase the ball.
TAA gone has taken away some X factor linking with mids let alone the flanks and balls cutting through behind backlines.
Wirtz is still struggling getting to know his close team mates ins and outs and visa versa.

Look I agree its fine margins as Slots says but normal practice for any team.

We got to get clicking sooner than later Redmen please !

It is what it is thats football.
The heat is building on Slot if he doesn't get a winning run going pronto.
So strange having made so many right calls re subs etc last season whereas this season its all the place.
As well as many players playing out of position when he has some players on the bench who could start.
Gomez ? Endo ? for eg.....
Persisting with Kerkez, so young lots to learn has left us exposed on the left whereas once Robbo is back on its safer.
Playing Szobo out of position, our most consistant at RB is ridiculous.
Grav dropping back into CB - like come on.
Isak no match fitness starts instead of in form Ekitike.
Get your shit together Slot for tomorrows CL PSV game.

Chiesa WTF does he have to do to get a start he deserves a chance, Gakpo as predictable as shit runs in to shoot on his right foot they know him well in Netherlands blocked most of his efforts with ease, just clueless, Salah could start off the bench to me, Isak looks like a fart in a trance what is up with him doesnt look like he wants to be there, Konate head is on planet Mars the guy makes mistakes on a weekly basis now, Virgil is struggling and Slot looks like Mr Bean on the touchline - Im not one for Slot out but then results are so poor I am now leaning that way fast. Even worse a boring Arsenal team that looks like they will win the league are not really been challenged maybe Chelsea or City but they are also a bit off the mark. Can we start the season again please :cry:

He's lost the plot Slot.
Szobo again at RB like ffs, Gomez steps in there and used to under Kloppy.
Throw Endo in for Konate ! least give it a fucken go what have you got to lose, he sure won't suffer the brain farts Konate does.
Robbo hands down takes back his rightful LB.
That gives that backline alot more credibility.
I hear you re Gapko and MO is the same, all know what they are going to do take it back to their fav peg but we need to get back attacking with pace, teams reset stack the back the third.
Chiesa deserves a chance purley due to barring Ekitike the rest are not converting period.
Slot is sticking by his prefs that is choking us - he needs to eat some humble pie and shuffle the bench.

Can’t disagree with anything he has said de the over done buying spree more so persisting getting Isak.
Losing the chance with Guehi was utterly crazy shifting Quansah at the same time stupid is stupid.
Slot also is no attack attack type manager so it didn’t make sense therefore why ok the Diaz release as well.
The off season was the weirdest and unlike LFC in all my years supporting.
The hourglass is getting low for this situation with more loss’s will be out of Slots hand before we know it and as Carra mentions we are not a sacking style club never have been.
