NPL 2026

Lachie Griffiths back to Rockdale
Harry van de saag to Rockdale
Swibel a possibility to Rockdale
Tass Mourdokatas meant to sign for Rockdale but going to Auckland to play in the ofc cup but possibly he comes after that I’m not not sure
Van de Saag is an impressive player...

Maybe for the first game and thats about it. The Olympic game was a cracker and enticed many to return agsinst Moreton.
So do you think , if we had Esteban as a coach still and made the grand final playing classic Esteban ball (which isnt inconceivable considering he got us to 4 finals in 3 seasons) we would have had less of a crowd than we did on Saturday?

I dont think so, I think people came for the occasion, the football was secondary... as is often the case in Australian football.

Grand final crowd would be the same, atmosphere would be shit though as we would be getting smashed lol.

He played for Brisbane Roar in 2022 when we beat them at home in the Semi.

The club approached him before he went to Marconi, but he went to them instead cause all he cares about is money.

Just because he is Cro, doesnt mean we like him. There are many croatian players that can get fucked lol.
Properly grubby player will be interesting if he stays in NSW but I don’t see anyone paying those wages plus Marconi players are having their wages slashed

Hence why everyone is leaving.

There is no more loyalty in football unfortunately. Its all about money, players go to the highest bidder.

If Esteban was still there, we would never have made the grand final in the first place. We were a mess mid year and that would have continued into the Australian Championship.

If by a massive amount of luck we actually made it to a grand final, we would have played timidly and camped on our 18 yard box. It would have been ugly, a much smaller crowd, and a terrible atmosphere.

The damage that Esteban did to our club is immense. Three straight grand final losses, terrible football, and a lack of fan engagement was a blight on our club. Sinisa embodies the qualities and DNA of our club. He was the right man for the right moment.

Don't misunderstand, Im extremely grateful to the turn around Sinisa and his team has brought to the club. Im glad he was given the chance to stay on for Championships and will be very pleased if we retain him for the coming few seasons... His style and adaptability is truly, like you said, the Hellas way... its incredible to watch and will draw, hopefully a better crowd next year..

I just think it is a small part of the equation on our crowd success though, alot of that has to do with the actual Championship and the chance to play in these big games...

Is his role at the club full time now with the OFC league too ?

Mirjan Pavlovic comes to mind as another example of a cro player you guys seem to have that kind of a relationship with

I wonder if the wage cut will just be for a year or so during construction, you’d imagine if it went to a proper h/a aus Championship the wage bill would have to go up again

Nah Griffiths and maybe tass but he’s going Auckland for the ofc league

$1500 needs to get a grip and humbled

How come the sus don’t like him he’s a cro player isn’t he ?
Isn't Auckland's team meant to be a youth team only in the OFC Pro League?

Are they allowed X number of senior players?
