Kudos on the season summary.
I pretty much agree for tbh it hasn’t been that complicated mid season the end league wise.
My 2 surprises are
Rockdale
I always expect them to step up but this year big fail.
SO
The writing been on the wall as we all have seen but dam, who would have called them being relegated for the first time ever !

As for APIA.
Wow - we get the double would be cherry on the top but I can’t be disappointed if not.
Stellar season ! Incl Cup run.
I expect spirit will put up a hard fight next game but I’m also confident we end their finals run.
They have backed up from last season not bad considering losing their gaffa and many players from last season.

I thought the referee strike was just related to the A-League. The NPL has nothing to do with whether the APL pays its referees or not.

Not APL related though, thought it is between the FFA and the Professional Ref Association.

If serious, sounds like it could delay the cup games.

The referees want the agreement with FA. FA wants them to sign the agreement with the APL. The referees believe it is a conflict of interest. It won’t impact the NPL.
