[Football us life]

It's amazing. Football is everywhere in Portugal. Even when I go to the shopping centres, there are TVs everywhere playing football. You can sit down in the food courts and watch football.

Yeah had a holiday in Lisbon and then on the Algarve once and the entire time it was hard not to get completely drawn in to the everyday passion for football everywhere you look.....

It's infectious really!

I love how a country of around 10m people can have 3 daily sports newspapers which are 80% football coverage!!

Only 3??? each team in Greece has a daily published newspaper (plus weekly magazines of their own) let alone 2-3 "general" league ones... Obsession is real. Some organised fan groups even have their OWN weekly publication....

3 main ones. There would be more that I'm not aware of as I haven't lived there since I was a kid.
