Thanks!Hey Fab!!! Welcome to the forum and congrats to your sister!!!
We’d love to grow the women’s space. Other than Tillies games it’s mostly just me and Reb Fem at the moment.
Welcome.I've been reading the forum for ages now thought i would starting posting now.
Came here in 93 as a 7yo - like other Cros quickly started attending Syd United games and fell in the love in the game esp after 96/97 season with Popa, Milicic, Zdrila & Marusic and co. Mainly played park soccer during this time.
Post NSL got disillusioned with the game, watched a bit of the early United FNSW days and then lost interest. Started to come back during early Aus Cup days.
Then when my son starting playing, I starting coaching his U6 team at Syd United Juniors. Then really caught the bug again and fell in love with NPL football. My son now U12 Sydney United JDL - so have spent a lot of nights at King Tom during the last couple of years.
Thanks mate.Welcome.
Havent been to King Tom for a feed in years... hoping this years cup (or Aus Champs) brings us together....

Welcome to the forum! It has taken me some time, but I have finally decided to migrate across from the now defunct Roar website to this forum.
I was previously asked by the prior editor (before Tony came onboard) to write for that site to liven up the lagging a league section and boy did I liven it up.
The site had complaints from players, officials and clubs that took umbrage with information that I released publicly (most notably macarthur and western united)
I broke news on players wages, contracts, sponsorship deals and fights behind the scenes, not just at Adelaide United but several other a league clubs as well (have very good knowledge of Brisbane roar and Sydney fc behind the scenes due to the number of south Australians who played there or held administration positions over the years)
Given where I’m based, my speciality is all things South Australia where I will try and give you as much information as possible about players/coaches/admin staff (past, present and upcoming) without breaking their trust.
Previously I had worked with Football South Australia in a development role, before joining Adelaide United in a similar role. I have also done some freelance analyst work for Western United and continue to do so locally with my junior club Beograd in the SA NPL as well as Altona in the VIC NPL.
My views on the women’s version of the sport and the men’s national teams are very controversial and will upset some people haha.
I don’t post on any social media platforms and people often confuse me with Aussie Scout on twitter.
Any questions feel free to ask (theres a lot more I could’ve said, but didn’t want to bore people haha)
