Such a bizarre case in The Netherlands. We think football isn't immune given clubs and their admin staff being on top of these things due to the strict registration requirements.

In turn, if someone takes another national and doesn't inform the Dutch authorities, they're likely none the wiser.

The rules are there and it makes perfect sense when someone makes a claim given what is listed light to be upheld.

I remember some anecdote about Michael Ballack being pulled over while driving in Switzerland and the fine is supposed to be respective of income. It was summer and he was actually out of contract and his lawyer successfully argued he was unemployment and paid the minimum rate.

Seen a lot of tweets lately of pissed off Australian fual British nationals who went to the effort to get to British passport to enter the UK under new laws only to use the Australian one at the E Gate first and to enter no questions asked.

Just reading a bit more I'm amazed that no one from the Dutch or Indonesian football, authorities or media raised this before it became a mass issue.

Even amongst the communities it's common knowledge of what you can and can't do with your nationality and the effects it can have.

I'm surprised no one from the Indonesian side said you simply can't retain anything else once you become Indonesian.

I'd love immediate yellows for shirt pulls. Let's get defenders jostling again.

Bit sad really

Can't stand the arguing against the ref. I get there is a point if many decisions are ridiculous and questionable but that should be dealt with post game by the FA.

There was another recently with Bayern and Kimmich is an arrogant, rude twat that should be carded for the ay he talks to refs. Said it isn't the refs job to make the game more exciting by awarding fouls to the underdog.

That hurts. I haven't. I just looked you can only watch it on Apple TV or rent it on Prime apparently.
MUST watch movie from the 80s, can quote it line for line... Michael Cain, Max Von Sydow, Pele, Stallone and heaps of English First div stars... even little Ossi Ardillles... great flick if you can find a work around it give it a go, or else hunt down the Croatian remake with , what I believe, is Mark Vidukas cinema debut?

On my Le Foot blog we take a look at some of the amazing Brazilian footballer who have graced Ligue Un over the years....

Juninho Pernambucano's time at Lyon was one of the greatest stories in European football history.....

It had almost everything: a perhaps at the time, an unfashionable club that had never won the league before, a relatively unknown Brazilian midfielder arriving from Vasco da Gama, and then seven straight Ligue 1 titles — a record of dominance that still feels astonishing even in this era of the supercharged PSG!

Un véritable magicien du ballon!!
