Yeah nah, Michel Platini was bang average....only three straight Ballon d'Ors, focal.point of a peak Juventus side, carrying a Euros for France, running midfields for fun… basically your joe average NPL player with slightly better PR.....🤣🤣🤣

Nothing but love for Platini, just teasing the whole ranking system I mean Sport Bible loved the Latino vampire so much they listed him twice.... I wouldn't have even listed him... hahahaha

One was Luis Suarez Miramontes the legendary Spanish midfielder who won the Ballon d'Or in 1960...

The other one was the Uruguayan snack attack....

It's always going to be difficult comparing players across eras.

My era of growing up and becoming a football fan was the late 1970s through the 1980s so my internal perspective and emotional nuance tends to reflect the teams and players that dominated those years.

There's no way I'd have Messi ahead of Maradona!!

the only reason Mono and myself responded was because some journo scribed from your original post - some may say of all time.
There is no doubt he ranks dam high but not near of all time, thats it......
Like I said some rankings baffle me.
Sport Bible.
Ronaldinho @ 21 and Xavi @ 6 - could I really rate Xavi that much higher a player to Ronaldinho ? lets classify them as midfielders even though Ronald could play wing as well - I see Ronaldinho a utter wizard compared to Xavi and no doubt he was brilliant but ?
Like wow
Di Maria @ 17 ! - now thats fecked up.
