Fußball Bundesliga

what a farce with Lique1 Bundas is overall of a comp.
BM at 105 GF with 3 games to go and 16points ahead.
Thats just over 3 per game average.
Whats surprising they have 27 GA.

Onya Diaz though but not unexpected in this comp with his calibre - 15 goals plus 11 assists.

Hoffenheim up 1–0 over Dortmund, practically gifting the Bundesliga title to Bayern yet again. If Bayern beat Stuttgart tomorrow they’ll have clinched the title with four matches to go.

Bayern beat Stuttgart 4–2 at home to clinch the Bundesliga title. The “Farmers’ League” moniker remains.

and there you go.......
Kane 32 goals ! Haaland is on 23 for eg.
I luv Diaz but even he @ 15 goals plus 13 assists !
His best in EPL over 4 seasons was 13 his last with us previous 3 under double figures.
IMO says it all of the Bundas.
Anyway good luck to them - I'll back them for the CL title as well.

It's just so boring and predictable. Bayern have too much leverage and skill. Teams are cowardly and submit even before the game starts.
Yeah it’s pretty annoying that the same bloody team wins the Bundesliga (which is otherwise a great league) every year (other than Leverkusen in 2023–24) and it’s not even close. That’s why I worry that even if France and Scotland change champions (i.e. should Lens win Ligue 1 and Hearts or Rangers win the Premiership) that it’ll just revert back to the same old default winners next season as the past has shown with those two and with Germany.

It’s even showing in the Frauen-Bundesliga now. It used to be quite competitive with Bayern, Frankfurt, Turbine Potsdam (who were relegated last season) and Wolfsburg having all won titles from 2000–01 to 2021–22 (with Wolfsburg having won the most; no Dortmund though as their women’s team are still making their way up the pyramid) until Bayern started outspending them and now they win everything every year (they’ve won the past three titles and did the treble last season). Bayern are once again gonna win the league and are currently 13 points clear of Wolfsburg (who are second) this season. It’s like France’s Première Ligue or Spain’s Liga F now.

I know it’s a cliché term but the Frauen-Bundesliga and the Herren-Bundesliga are both farmer’s leagues. It’s ruining German football.

When I started 20 years ago it was special. You had all the big clubs there and the occasional change of champions. Each club also had a few hard nuts and cult figures.

Now it's just full of kids and foreign academy loans with stupid hairstyles. It's become a development league for those from French, English and Dutch academies where some raw player gets put on a pedestal.

The clubs used to have figures that would resonate with that club and stay a decent amount of time. You got to know who belonged where.

I think the great thing about German football (especially back then) is it’s less corporate (e.g. clubs are fan-owned, the 50+1 rule, etc). You get proper atmospheres there unlike in England.

Other than Bayer Leverkusen’s miracle in 2023–24, the last time another team won the Bundesliga was when Borussia Dortmund got back-to-back titles in 2010–11 an 2011–12 (when they won the double), before Dortmund’s kids all went to Bayern Munich and other clubs. Back then Jürgen Klopp was manager, now he’s not even Liverpool manager anymore. Now it’s just the DFB-Pokal that’s competitive.

The ONLY good positive about German football is the 50+1 rule nothing else is….
Oh get off
The atmosphere I’ve experienced at English football is just as good.
Same when I’ve been to Italy Portugal Mexico and elsewhere.
Every place has its unique vibe atmosphere but great active support as expected

How often are there flares, pyro and good tifos at English games? Spurs did a great tifo earlier this season but Arsenal’s one looked like a bathroom curtain. You’ll never see anything like Dortmund’s Yellow Wall in the Prem.

The advantages England has are that they have some nicer stadiums (THS is an elite stadium for example and is used for concerts and the NFL as the club love to tell everyone), the football is of a higher quality (the gap isn’t huge but the Prem is the best league in the world) and English football is more competitive.

Hannover stuff it on the final day and finish 4th. I'm fine with it. Better kick off times and lots of great opponents.

Düsseldorf shockingly relegated to the third division. Fürth in Playoff against Essen while Paderborn face Wolfsburg in the most boring of ties.

Plenty of good clubs there and football betting better all the time. The vast majority are decent sized cities too.

Crazy to see Düsseldorf back down there but 38 matches would be a great place for a few budding Australians to get their European entry.

Bloody hell Langerak would school the majority of Bundesliga keepers these days. Backhaus is young but had a lot of deficiencies in a poor Bremen side that now sees him get a deal at Freiburg.

Probably works with vpn. Today is the day all the regional cup finals are played and the winners go to the German cup draw next season.

Paderborn are promoted and Wolfsburg are down in the playoff.

Many Wolfsburg players will be snapped up as they're capable. Terrible team of some decent individuals.

It’s so odd seeing how bad Wolfsburg Men are when Wolfsburg Women always do so well. Lyon are similar in that regard though at least their men’s team aren’t completely hopeless.
