Can we have a Likon (see what I did there) for "Thank you for the discussion".

When someone says "Your club needs to go because of these reasons that I feel strongly about" I find it bloody hard to hit the Like when the content goes so far against my own feelings. But I do Like the fact that they have stated their opinion, backed it up with reason, and continued discussion.

They still deserve to get credit for an opinion I don't agree with and I genuinely appreciate constructive posts by anyone - with me, against me, or on a different page completely.

It would also resolve the problem where someone posts bad news and you feel wrong for Liking the post.

haha could have a tick emoji "thanks for the effort but I disagree"

Handshake for agree to disagree?

See how I brought that back to subject to stop it running around like a...oh well...you know.

Edit:
An Aussie 2 cent piece - to acknowledge their 2 cents worth?

MCG - 2 cents was legal currency at one point in our history ;).

Footnote: Technically the 2 cent piece is still legal currency up to 20 cents worth if that is interesting to anyone. That would possibly do some shop assistant's heads in if you included 10 of them in your payment method.

I found 20 5 cents pieces the other day & teamed it with 8 50 cent pieces to pay for a coffee. Probably did the baristas head in...

I have an old footy sock half full of 1 and 2 cent pieces from when I used to play pontoon/21 with my mates for real money.

Totally useless, except perhaps for its copper value, but do you think I'll ever let it go? Not a chance!
