The AC Milan winger received a red card shortly before halftime after repeatedly shoving opponent Ivan Morales during a scuffle and subsequently knocking him to the ground with a blow to the face.

Leão is definitely suspended for the final World Cup warm-up match against Nigeria on Wednesday. Suspensions for serious foul play or violent conduct can extend beyond friendly matches to include official competitive games.
