Defence was very good especially with 12 men . Need to go on with this be great to win well bring confidence to the Panthers game .

I am gald that the Dragons attacked well, good practice for the Panthers game.

I agree with Cirro, we will need to be better against the Panthers.

Line drop outs were very good, we got the ball back a few times.

More variety in attack, and some very good execution.

Penalties, errors and 6-agains are the main thing we need to fix.

Not getting easier to make the semis . If we only had held out against the Goosters. Definitely would be there but lets see.

Will Lachlan Galvin ever be given the freedom to run and control the game like Nathan Cleary or Jonathan Thurston? It seems like most halves these days try to fit a mould playing to script rather then having a feel for the game and decisively playing their own brand of footy!
Galvin actally played like the halfback, good call SAQ.

1 try 2 try assits, 1 linebreak assist, 123 running metres.

Sexton didn't have many games that good.

Salmon combined well with Galivn 150 running metres, 42 PCM, 2 tackle breaks, 1 linebreak, 35 tackles, 0 missed tackles.

Critter 115 running metres, 43 PCM, 2 tackle breaks, 1 linebreak, 1 linebreak assist.

Tracey 201 running metres, 55 PCM, 6 tackle breaks, 1 linebreak, 1 linebreak assist, 1 try, 1 try assist.

Hayward 1 linebreak assist, 1 try assist, 36 tackles, 4 misses.

The spine answered their critics, the morons on Fox Sports will have nothing to talk about.

It looked like the changes in our style were deliberate.

People we say it is only the Dragons, the are the spooners and their defence isn't that flash.

But IMO they were better than some of the teams we beat last year, 4 wins of the Knights and Titans for starters.

The Dragons attack was good and they tried hard for the full 80, the scramble of the Critter kick for Sua is one example. Not many spooners who a losing a game scramble hard at the end of the game.

If Critter got thst kick a bit wider, Sua might have scored.

The Panthers will have faster line speed, better scramble, fewer errors, better kicking game.

The challenge for us is similar to the Warriors and Roosters gsmes.

Hopefully Sua isn't suspended or only gets one game. I don't like Tuala on the wing, but against To'o is probably ok.

We will need to try to rattle their attack play in your face type defence .. They are quick in defence as well . Long kicks keep them pinned their own half .

We need 80 minutes of energy and execution.

Pressure Cleary becuase he may be the main focus of their attack.

Great to see the Tigers beat the Chooks.

I hope they can back that up against the Cows, that is the game we need them to win.

I think we will see a few more upsets next week or so . The bottom teams will come out with no pressure on them . Tiggers played well hopefully they carry that form next week.

Interesting team selection against the Panthers, Covid means we are forced to rest some players, but hopefully only for 1 week.

We might never get an exemption to name a bigger squad this week.

I don't think our starting props or spine are affected. Young guys can step in an step up for 1 week. Lower grade sides will be weakened. We might make a decision to absorb most of the damage in Flegg.

If we lose to the Panthers in Flegg we finish 3rd rather than 2nd.

NSW cup we might need to beat the Top team Panthers to make the semis.

RMC we have a GF qualifier, the young guys deserve a shot with a full strength side.

I think Edgar is some chance to start for the Panthers with Edwards moving to 5/8.

3 players on the bench Spinks, Readon and Toy are named in reserve grade but are a chance of playing.

Toy would play wing with Tuala moving to centre.

Underhill may get some minutes, and Spinks may debut.

So potentially 3 players ruled out with Covid which seems like the right number.

If Galvin, Critter, Tracey and Salmon all play and repeat their performance against the Dragons we are a chance. Getting Presto, Kiks and Burton / Xerri into the game is important.

Looking at the named team, I think Curran, Preston and one out of Tuala, Burton and Xerri are possibly the players with Covid or other injurty issues.

Spinks or Readon playing instead of Preston would not surpise. If Curran is fit he could also play backrow.

Looks like Cirro has kept his options open due to Covid / injuries.

I still think we can win, and the named 17 may play.

The covid thing may stuff us or may also give an inspiration performance.
Hopefully the Preston saga is over and we got him secured . Definitely need him now and future . He is a future captain and rep player . In the mould of Jackson .

D Day. Toy might make his debut for us, not sure why.

I'm an expecting a game similar to a semi final, it is a semi for us.
