I'm sure King didn't hit Leo in the head, with a forceful tackle like that, Leo would have been out cold, and might have had a broken jaw.

I am hoping that they don't classify it as a shoulder charge to the shoulder. I would need to see a replay, a bit of a 50/50 case, but at the minor end of the scale.

King suspended would cost us against the Roosters, but Underhill, Curran, AJ, Toups or Hughes should be able to get the job done.

Mann and Hayes were a bit off the pace against the Storm, Mann will be better for the run.

I see the Roosters game as mainly a forwards game, as long as we are competitive in the forwards, we will be in the game.

King has been our best forward for weeks,

Update: only a fine for King, slightly unlucky, but it could have been worse, we will cop that.

Just about every hard tackle is penalised these days.

How crap are the Titans as a football club people criticise Tigers t but that team just a total basket case they have not done anything for 20 years.

I recon the Tits have improved this year.

The Warriors were dialed in after losing to us.

Cows clocked up the most disappointing performance this year.

Roosters were good, but hopefully not that good.

We have done a good job rebuilding in the last 3 years.

Getting out of the bottom of the table is hard.

So far the Raiders getting thrashed as I expected.

Many people drew completely the wrong conclusion about both teams after they beat us.

They do have 2-3 of their better players out.

Trying to backup a premiership year seems not so easy. Panthers somehow have managed it well .
Amazing both minor premiers and premiers will not play finals this year ..
,

Both teams that played the GF are out.

I think we are the only top 4 team from last season in the mix and we need to keep winning.

Beat the Roosters are we are almost certainly in.

Broncos have more talent than us and their injuries have been no worse.

Injuries are the reason for tne Storm.

Canberra had a dream run with injuries last season, their attack is good, but i don't rate their defence especially when they have a few injuries.

Canberra are still building, but overall i think their team is overrated.

We have done well to get into a position to have a shot, bht the job is not done.

To beat the Roosters we need to match or exceed their intensity in the forwards at the start of the match.

They have had problems with teams which play with high intensity for 80 mins in the past.

I would consider moving Hayward to the bench and starting Mann, Salmon or Turpin at hooker.

Off the bench we need impact - Hayward, Curran and Toups will add that, but I also think a young guy like Underhill, AJ or Hopoi might add energy.

Mann and Hayes are they guys that might miss out though Mann might start at hooker.

Team selection comes down to 1-2 forward positions.

Attack wise, just play our game and aim our second rowers at their halves.

South's losing today was good for us . Cowboys and them looks to me to have an easier run to the semis than us .
We lose on Friday will probably be out of the 8!.
Definitely going to be touch and go from now on.

I think that the coach and team may see the victory over the Storm as our most important win of the year so far.

The win over the Warriors is probably second.

Cirro was right to mention the mental strength of the win over the Storm. That strength doesn't happen without team work and unity.

The Warriors was a physical test, the Storm was a mental test. The Roosters are likely to be a physical test and a mental test.

If we manage to beat the Roosters it will probably be our best performance of the season. The last 2 games are ideal preparation.

IMO the coach and players have shown a lot of mental strength to hang in there and fight our way back into the season. It was much more than the Broncos could muster.

Sutton has succeeded in toughening is up mentally, we will need that in the Roosters game and the semis.

Even if we lose to the Chooks we should still be a mathematical chance right through to the end of the season. Our season isn't ending early.

I have always thought that the Chooks game is the one we were most likely to lose. However, I think we can win.

Broncos last round worries me, if we definately need a win, the Broncos still have a lot of unpredictable talent. They might throw the ball around and the passes might stick. Or they might turn up on end of season holiday, and only offer token resistance. The gap between their best and worst is a chasm.

Chooks might buckle under pressure, drop balls, give away penalties, etc. They have done that in the past. We need to build the pressure via good defence, high completions, fast tempo, good kicks, good kick chase. Then execute our plays when we have opportunities.

I say go all out to win take chances throw the ball around . Your right lose this game season not over . Few results will need to go our way .
Storm win was good they went out there swinging plus had Sutton on their team
We did well to fight back .
Teddy may be out on Friday and if Salmon get under the Roosters skin could see a few sin bins .

The Roosters are not known for mental discipline when things get tough.

Walker is small and DCE can be suspect in defence, we have lots of reasons to run our backrowers at their halves.

Stopping them scoring and executing our chances is important.

The 3 reserves listed this week are all named i reserve grade.

So the team is 1-20.

Will Mann, Salmon or Turpin start at hooker with Hayward starting on the bench?

That is the only slightly funky thing we might do.

Hughes still not listed in any grade, no update on the injury.

Hughes last played in round 10. Looking like he might not play again this season.

I would probably start Turpin, bring Curran and Toups on as the first 2 changes.

Then possibly use Hayes or Mann as the last change or only use 16 players.

If they don't play, rest Hayes, and play Mann in reserve grade. Only becuase look less than 80% fit to me.

Plans can go out the window if we have injury / HIA issues.

At his best Turpin is a reliable high work rate defender who hits hard in tackles. When fit Mann is similar, but Turpin can do it for longer. When fit Hayes is a reliable defender with great scramble for very long minutes.

Cirro would know how fit Hayes and Mann really are, it will be a week since the Storm game.

Having Sitili back will add impact from the bench , Hope he is in form. Definitely in the mix now : if we can rattle the Roosters with defence good chance of getting the win .
Need to neutralise Walker like they did to Cleary in the early round.
