Big Ange thread

True, but getting the club into the Champions League via winning the Europa League still has to be regarded as having a successful season. Every single club in the Premier League would regard qualifying for the Champions League as having a good if not excellent season....

The league might be the 'bread and butter' but Champions League qualification is the cherry on top of the cake.....
It would be seen as successful, if it wasn't six teams getting into said competition. The whole set up is embarrassing to football. The name " Champions league" must be changed.

I agree with six teams in the Champions League isn't within the spirit of the competition. However I still think the Europa League winning team deserves it's place.

Also you being Glasgow Rangers fan, you're probably see football slightly different from a Spurs fan. Sure, you're both big clubs in big cities with huge a fanbase, but Rangers have an honors list that goes on forever.....

You've won 50+ League Championships, god knows how many SFA and League Cups....

Rangers have been involved in European football just about every year since continental competition football has been going....

Compared to Rangers, Spurs have barely won fuck all. Maybe 3 or 4 cups and no league championship since 1961...

That's why a Europa League is a big deal for them!

Just press the ignore button then.
I don't hate you or anything. I've actually agreed with you a couple times, you've just ignored that. You can't live in a world thinking you are the only one who is right. You'll have detractors and it's important to understand them to grow better.

The bloke's a hate-filled douche-canoe wishing he were in the thick of The Troubles or something; poor sod. I remind myself that ultimately he's more needing of pity than scorn;)

Honestly, the last year or so has taught me that people will disagree with you, and some will feel validated to do so in harmful and disrespectful ways. They will attack you with assumptions and generalisations and attempt to make them true (I'm not talking about you sutho)

So yeah, I'll disagree with people and such. Have discourse about it. I can choose to ignore hate and vitriol, but stupidity is something you else.

Ange has high standards for himself and aspires to be at the top. In saying that, like with Guardiola post City, I wonder if they'd fancy and honourable role at a club trying to set the groundwork for the future.

It's about the money anymore and I guess it'd be just as stressful but trying fix a basket case at a lower level would be interesting to watch.

Ange already had it at Spurs I suppose.
