If he's planning on using him centrally it could mean anything. I remember Klopp trying to turn Mustafa Amini from a number 10 into a 6 so anything is possible in the modern game.

They may see he needs to work on the defensive side of his game and why they'd look to deploy him as an 8 perhaps.
