Sign Up Now!I was thinking the exact same thing.Wonder if Bennie playing in the SPL might give him a bit of encouragement to play for the Scottish national team, as he said not long ago he would be open them or Australia. Same might go for Overy.
Yeah he will be fine with the physical, kick and chase football. Potential competition for minutes with Sapsford tho.Dundee loan is underwhelming but Bennie I think would adapt. He's physically dominant and I think that will help in Scotland.
Wow this is significant because Bennie is a substantial long term prospect. He’s above DU level but hopefully he will get gametime.

Only problem is DU already have Sapsford and Randall as right wingers and Rose as a forward. I believe they have brought in another CF this year too.
As someone else said, Bennie’s superior. Physical characteristics should see him fit in to Scotland and there’s lots of games, but it seems like one of the A-league boys is going to miss out.
I know he has lots of fans on here but I've not yet seen much special from him.It seems to be about where I would expect him to go surely? Either here or L1/2. He was a sometimes bench player last season in the Championship. I think our estimations of him are overrated compared to where he is at in his career.

It's a weird one because he started featuring a lot more to the back end of last season and now this pre season as wellDundee loan is underwhelming but Bennie I think would adapt. He's physically dominant and I think that will help in Scotland.
They do. It's where Strain played for them.Yeah he will be fine with the physical, kick and chase football. Potential competition for minutes with Sapsford tho.
Do DU play with a back three? Popa's shit formation needs him developing at RWB.
Dundee press release and socials already mentioning his Scottish roots and eligibility for Scotland Senior team.Wonder if Bennie playing in the SPL might give him a bit of encouragement to play for the Scottish national team, as he said not long ago he would be open them or Australia. Dont ordinarily play a LWB as inverted (if you can avoid it) as they are the sole player providing the width. For me he is a LWB or a LW with the ability to play as an inverted winger. Not a RWB.
It wouldnt no, as its only a friendly so doesnt count as a world cup or continental finals competition in which case player can play up to 4 times before locked in.Dundee press release and socials already mentioning his Scottish roots and eligibility for Scotland Senior team.
Would playing him versus Brazil later in the year at lest tie him up for three years?
They are. Bennie hasn't quite had a breakout season at club level yet, but I think he has enormous potential and is a better player than his club career has shown so far. That said, the game time he's earned in the Championship is impressive for an Australian of his age. I also think he's been played out of position, which hasn't helped. I'm really excited to see what he does at Dundee, and hopefully they use him somewhere on the right, where I think he'll be at his best.It seems to be about where I would expect him to go surely? I hope so. He could play CF, RF or RWB in that team and set up. Sapsford can play CF or RF. They can co-exist. But I prefer RWB.Dundee play a 343 just like the Socceroos so we may well see our wish play out of Bennie being tried at RWB..
Both of them play LW as well. In fact in that last friendly Sapsford scored in, he played at LW cutting in to score. According to Transfermarkt played majority of his games at CF last season though.I hope so. He could play CF, RF or RWB in that team and set up. Sapsford can play CF or RF. They can co-exist. Randell looked really good on the right with Saps cutting in on the left. Both of them play LW as well. In fact in that last friendly Sapsford scored in, he played at LW cutting in to score. According to Transfermarkt played majority of his games at CF last season though.
