Australian transfers 25-26 Winter

Kuol with a cryptic "n/a" post no idea what that means in gen z slang.

But what is it with every young bloke wanting to be a gangster? with the bumbags, hoodies, luxury shopping, jetskis? dude come on lol

His whole post just shows why he will never make it. Think I'm done with the kid.

Thats gangsta? The scarf looks private school boy and that jacket is pretty normal

July 1 so all the transfers and updates went through TransferMarkt today. A few players released that I am not sure have been mentioned - Ryan Edwards, Dean Bouzanis, Jason Davidson, Terry Antonis, Jay Rich-Baghuelou, Xavier Smith and Chris Donnell.

Lots of Aussies in Italy moving up from U17 and U18, to Primavera - Fanari, Troselj, Anastasio and Treffiletti.

Some names I had completely forgotten about there.

I've heard a little about him Treffiletti, you seem to know more, how do you rate him with some of our other youngsters?
What I've seen is for Aus underage teams. I thought he looked the best player by a mile and against good underage opponents.

I dunno man they look like what most privileged 20 year old kids are doing - shopping, afl game, beach, cafe (sitting with Nizz! Maybe Netherlands?), plane shot, tops off on kayak, token selfies etc.

Would you think they looked gangsta if they were white??

Just a thought..

This is just social media relax

A few more transfers:
Zak Gilsenan signed with Grimsby Town (4)
Tomislav Glavan moved to NS Mura, Croatia (1)
Saad Moukachar and Illiya Shalamanov-Trenkov transferred to Spartak Varna, Bulgaria (1)
I would love to know if any a league teams even tried with these guys

Has to be said, reading this thread over time, that our talent base has been very ordinary for a long, long time. So many other countries, even small ones like Georgia, from time to time produce real talents. Why doesn't Australia? Even Cahill, on those terms, was pretty unremarkable. Is it because our best athletes are hoovered up by AFL and NRL? What do people think? Quite apart from skillsets, where are our outstanding athletes?

Playing other sports.

Plus you get heaps of people saying these kinds of players are shit because they aren’t that technically gifted. One example of this is Trent Buhagiar who is quicker than Usain Bolt over 20 metres

Player development is largely limited to NPL given that there isn't a youth league any more so they end up having to either play in NPL or go elsewhere, and most opt for the latter.

Given most AL clubs have academies from around U12’s and up, that couldn’t be more wrong.
