Sign Up Now!Was horrible viewing while Silvera lingered in decent space but wasn't served. Boro's passing gave me headaches.Silvera subbed off at half time. He was a scapegoat in a terrible half for Boro. From that first half, I could think of 20 players in the A-League who would have done better than most of the Middlesbrough players. None of them could hit a 10m pass. Silvera was actually quite good compared to his teammates. He made positive runs in behind and put in a dangerous cross. He got fouled when he skinned his marker and kept possession well under pressure. FotMob says he got 5.9. Thatās very misleading. He was not the problem with that team. I just couldnāt understand how many turn overs they had in their own defensive third just from poor passes. Iāve turned the game off now.
Oh shit I forgot him. We're really going to be pissed come March I think. Blokes like Borrello only if we have 7 injuries. But Borrello man...
I think if Segecic continues to score goals and bolster his attacking stock throughout the season he'll be worth a lot more than that and European powerhouses will no doubt be throwing more money at him.Wouldn't be surprised if a Bundesliga club throws 15-20m at Segecic.
Thanks for the report, despite depressing reading, Boonjeh.Silvera subbed off at half time. He was a scapegoat in a terrible half for Boro. Gotten good at unmarked runs into the box, makes him much more dangerous than being just a thunderboot specialist
He just had 3 very good games to be fair, games come thick and fast in the championshipThanks for the report, despite depressing reading, Boonjeh.
Hopefully Popovic selects him for the Socceroos World Cup squad.I think if Segecic continues to score goals and bolster his attacking stock throughout the season he'll be worth a lot more than that and European powerhouses will no doubt be throwing more money at him.
Watch his fee go even higher when he opts for Croatia. If Popovic doesn't pick him in March, it gives Croatia a chance as a world cup is right around the corner. This is a deadly part of the cycle.I think if Segecic continues to score goals and bolster his attacking stock throughout the season he'll be worth a lot more than that and European powerhouses will no doubt be throwing more money at him.
I think I've just read an article on 360 Football where Seg says they've already had 25 games in the Championship this season - the same as the entire AL season. Also, how it prepared him for games every 3 days going to Netherlands at an earlier age, then returning to the Aus AL. Seg said Aussies have a game every 7 days in the AL. Then have a lot of recovery and rest.He just had 3 very good games to be fair, games come thick and fast in the championship

His 360 interview was geared towards Australia but the wording was more of a could than a will. I hope it was just himself being reserved that he knows he's got work to do to get his spot.
